Post-event publicity for an all-night pajama party event I created and managed. Hey, if I can get hundreds of people to shop in their pajamas at 1 am and look this happy, wouldn’t you want me on your events-based marketing team?

I created a Star Trek Party (a future birthday for Captain Kirk who will be born in 2025) that drew hundreds of people and the attention of three news stations. Simon and Schuster, the publisher, was so impressed, they hired me to write this kit. For years afterwards, I received calls from people all over the US seeking advice on running their own Star Trek Party. Best idea: the cheese and nuts roll with a sign in reading “Captain’s Log.”
